I Can't Get Behind That

I can't get behind iTunes' new DRM-free music. Don't get me wrong, I love the DRM-free part, but it costs too much money. $1.29 for one song? What planet, schmanit, is Steve Jobs from? I still grimace every time I see a $0.99 charge on my credit card statement.

The truth is, DRM doesn't bug me in practice. It has yet to limit my use of music. Conceptually, it offends me, but not so much that I'll pay 30% more per song on principle alone.

I feel so weak.
